Our partners History
The Jenkinson Group was founded in Dublin on 14th July 1975 by Neville Jenkinson who is Chairman of the Group.
The original activity was liner agency and this remains a core activity but the Group has expanded its service offer to include airfreight, roadfreight, warehousing, supply-chain management and container storage and repair.
The Group was founded on the principle of providing high-quality service to customers and dealing fairly with customers, employees and sub-contractors alike.
In 1999 the Group acquired a majority share in James P. Jones & Son Ltd., thereby widening its geographical reach and service range.
Today the Group has a turnover of approx EURO 50M, 150 employees, a network of 11 offices in 5 countries and a growing international network
Quality
The Jenkinson Group was certified to ISO 9002 by NSAI in 1992 and to ISO 9000:2000 in 2003, in both cases being one of the first in the business to achieve this
